' E AU ' CUISINE A haven for fine dining, Palm Beach is home to many time-tested fixtures, including Buccan, Café Boulud, Café L'Europe, Ta-boo, and Renato's. If in search for something closer to home, however, The Eau Palm Beach pro- vides four principal dining options; Angle, which offers Modern American farm-to-fork fine dining; Temple Or- ange Mediterranean Bistro; casual 'al fresco' noshing at the Breeze Ocean Kitchen; and for lighter fare accompa- nied by a cocktail by a oceanfront ter- race fire pit (oh yes, smores..) Stir Bar & Terrace. Decorated in vibrant pal- ettes consisting of yellows and orang- es, Temple Orange Bistro and Breeze Ocean Kitchen are great locations to enjoy breakfast, lunch or brunch. With- in a stone's throw of each other, the Breeze Ocean Kitchen provides a won- derful ocean view in a slightly more casual setting, while Temple Orange offers a little more of a formal feel while retaining its easy-dining char- acter. The latter is well-known for its Sunday brunch, which offers up every- thing from smoked fish, jumbo shrimp cocktails, assorted salads, a wide array of fresh fruit and cheeses, and a carving station (featuring a stately prime rib on this visit). Sunday brunch is punc- tuated with a decadent yet sophisti- cated dessert bar and an immensely popular Bloody-Mary bar, which offers two versions--spicy and mild (neither variety skimping on the alcohol!), and a wide assortment of garnishes, so each guest can build the perfect Blood Mary to suit their particular taste.
