POLICIES SALES POLICY Nilfisk HPW sells to qualified dealers/distributors who are in the business of reselling pressure washing equipment and providing repair, service, and support. ORDERS All "ground freight" parcel orders received prior to 2:30 PM EST will be shipped same day for merchandise in stock. Unless otherwise specified all parcel orders are shipped UPS ground. Next Day, 2nd Day and 3rd day shipments require a 3:30 PM EST deadline. Additional Shipping Fees Will Apply. All LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments will ship at the carrier's standard service level unless expedited service is requested. PRICING Our pricing is subject to change without notice. We will make every possible attempt to inform our customers of any price changes at the time that the order is placed. PAYMENT We accept company checks, wire transfer, C.O.D., and credit cards ( Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover). Credit card payment option is only available if paid prior to order shipment date. Cannot be combined with credit terms. 30 day terms are available upon credit approval. There will be a $35.00 return check fee for insuf- ficient funds. Invoices are considered past due 31 days after invoice date and will incur an interest charge of 1.5% per month. Please call for more information and a credit application. SHIPPING POLICY • UPS is our preferred carrier for small parcel shipping (small parts or UPS-able machines under 150 lbs). UPS shipping and handling charges are prepaid and added to customer 's invoice. Oversized items (by UPS standards) will incur additional handling charges. • Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments are sent F.O.B. factory freight prepaid and add. This gives our customers access to our extremely competitive negotiated freight rates. If a specific carrier is requested we will ship F.O.B. factory freight collect by the carrier of your choice. • All orders will be treated independently for shipping. We will attempt to consolidate orders into a single shipment but if items must ship together they must be on the same purchase order. Orders on credit terms will not be considered for allocation or production scheduling until the credit department releases them. SHORTAGES AND BACKORDERS Count the pieces received against the driver's delivery receipt. Note any discrepancies in writing on the delivery re- ceipt. Be specific: Identify or describe the missing item. Call your customer service representative immediately with any discrepancies. FREIGHT DAMAGE CLAIMS All freight delivered must be inspected for damage and noted on freight bill prior to signing!! Failure to do so will result in your company being liable for the damaged merchandise. Notify the carrier immediately upon delivery of any noticeable damage. We cannot assist you in working out a settlement with the carrier unless they are immediately notified of the damage. If you suspect internal damage OPEN IMMEDIATELY! Even If no damaged goods are suspected, open the carton within 24 hours and make a thorough inspection of the products. Hold all damaged goods and their packaging materials for inspection by the carrier. All Nilfisk HPW freight shipments from the East Coast Pressure-Pro location are shrink-wrapped and strapped or stapled to the shipping pallet. If an LTL shipment from this location is not shrink-wrapped and/or strapped/stapled, INSPECT IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE INSTRUCT YOUR CUSTOMERS OF THIS POLICY AS WELL DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE AND WARRANTIES The liability of Nilfisk HPW is limited to the cost of the defective item. All products carry the manufacturer's war- ranty. The customer will be responsible for labor, and any other expenses connected with warranty repair or replace- ment. Freight charges are not covered under the warranty policy. SPECIFICATIONS Specifications are subject to change without notice. All models and parts meet or exceed PWMA (Pressure Washer Manufacturers Association) standards of +/- 10% variation.
