ZOO NEWS M EM B ER MAGA ZIN E 14 YOUR VIEWS OF THE ZOOS YOUR VIEWS OF THE ZOOS ZOOS VIEWS KEEPERS' VIEW Our Zoo Keepers give us a different perspective of the everyday live of the amazing animals that live at your zoos. Top to bottom: BILLABONG We recently installed a new billabong in the Australian Trail exhibit at Werribee Open Range Zoo. It has proved to be a massive hit with the emus who have enjoyed cooling off in the water during the warmer months. Zoo Keeper Ben, Werribee Open Range Zoo BUG'S LIFE I'm an invertebrate person so I think it's magical to witness a young, critically endangered Lord Howe Island Stick Insect moulting. Zoo Keeper Rohan, Melbourne Zoo DINGO I love the way the morning light shines on Omeo's gorgeous summer coat. The photo is also a reminder of how fortunate I am to be working with such an incredible and majestic Australian predator. Zoo Keeper Mel, Healesville Sanctuary
