Here she tells us what gets her creative juices flowing. r e d f c u.o r g | 15 M E M B E R S H I P (Continued from page 2) ‡e answer lies in our commitment to community. As a corporate member of this community for more than 65 years, Redstone prides itself in being a leader in community outreach, support and growth. When corporations look at relocating, an area's quality of life is essential to that corporation's decision-making process. Schools, skilled and educated workforce, arts and culture, and interesting attractions all help seal the deal. But it's not just about brightening the lives of people who are visiting or moving into our area. We do what we do because it also matters to people who have lived here for years, decades or even their entire life. So, come out on June 8 for the Opening Ceremony and help us celebrate our state's wonderful athletes and enjoy being a part of this great community. Member's Moment: Q. As an artist, what inspires you? A. Nature inspires me as an artist. I love to draw natural elements such as sunsets, flowers, the ocean and scenery. Q. As a person, what inspires you? A. I'm inspired by people and learning their life stories. I build relationships with others by learning, connecting and sharing life experiences. If you would like to appear in the Member's Moment column, just send your name and an interesting tidbit about yourself to aspire@redfcu.org. Q. Best advice you were ever given? A. My grandfather always taught me to give without expecting anything in return. I've learned throughout the years that receiving a simple "thank you" shows that I've done my part in giving. Q. What is one major project you would like to complete this spring? A. I've put together a plan to help others reach their goals by giving them the opportunity to bring their ideas to life through the journey of goal setting, accomplishing tasks and meeting milestones. I'd like to get this project started so I can help others achieve their vision.
