His mikeroweWORKS Foundation awards scholarships to students pursuing careers in the skilled trades and his website, mikeroweWORKS.org, focuses on all the issues related to the widening skills gap, aging workforce, high unemployment and millions of unfi lled jobs. It also provides comprehensive resources for anyone looking to explore those vocations. In this presentation, Rowe will offer a down-to-earth perspective on defi ning success and provides intriguing insights on the enormous but forgotten benefi ts of hard, honest work, the undervaluation of skilled trades, and the effects to our national identity, infrastructure and economy.
