inspired by Baily Ford, a 10-year-old who has for most of her life been battling cancer. Baily's dream was to have her 10th birthday party at the Castle. "Baily's mom emailed us, and all she wanted to do was have her 10-year-old birthday party at the Castle," Bramer said. "How could we not do that? We had her and her friends and a huge party, and she gave us the coolest thank-you poster. It wasn't even a card, it was a poster. She said she had the best time of her life, and it was such a good experience that we knew we had to continue to do that. That's really what we're going for, because we want to be a force for good and a beacon on the hill. I think you can have a good business and still be good to people." The Kentucky Castle Fairytale program is partially funded by proceeds from tours of the Castle, which run on Sundays and Mondays with lunch tours at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m., and dinner tours which are at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. "We realize this is a huge blessing to have something like this and we really look at ourselves as stewards more than owners," Bramer said. "It's something that's really well known and people deserve to see it. It's really cool that we have the opportunity to give back to people who truly deserve it."
