Raising Canola Enriched with
EPA/DHA Omega 3s in Montana
For a region that has had wheat as its number-one crop for years, Montana is now seeing changes in its
farming bill of fare. Instead of raising only wheat, a variety of rotational crops that support weed and
disease reduction has become the farming standard in the 21
st
century. To be added to the rotational
mix of mainstay grains will soon be a canola containing omega 3 fay acids.
