Adirondacks such an attractive destination for more than a century. After
all, this is the place where the word "vacation" was invented.

the people who make this community so special. They're the real reason
why once people visit Saranac Lake, they return again and again, or end up
staying a lot longer than they expected. Forever, in some cases. So, if you
want to know the one thing you just have to do when you're here, the answer
is simple: Make plans to come back as soon as possible.
