currently on mt Hotham, the great Alpine road separates tiny populations of male and female
mountain pygmy-possums. With great success from a previous man-made tunnel connecting the
slopes, the team at the mount Hotham Alpine resort management board with support from the
department of Environment, Land, Water and planning have decided to construct a second tunnel
in a different location to aid the possums ensuring they can find love on the mountain.
