Kikusui USA offers lab scale/R&D and production tablet presses in conventional single-layer, multi-layer, dry coater, WIP/contain- ment, computer controlled/instru- mented and exchangeable turret technologies, as well as ancillary products and turn-key engineering for upstream and downstream applications.Kikusui USA continues to expand its product lines through the offering of the Aquarius LD lab scale/R&D multi-function tablet press and the ELS-P1 external lubrication system. The Aquarius LD is a newly designed compact multifunctional lab-scale tablet press producing bi-layer, dry coated, and conventional tablets all on the same machine. It can be fully instrumented with our AIM system to provide a complete turn-key system designed for monitoring of main and ejection compression forces. It also offers a computerized data acquisi- tion system with computer integrated digital peak meters, compatibility profiles, and compression density calculation software allowing for individual punch peak-force reports and statistical analysis. Changeover is based on a modular conversion system designed for a quick and easy process. The automatic external lubrication system is a specially designed system that, when connected to a tablet press, applies a metered, controlled dose of dry lubricate (e.g. magne- sium stearate) directly to punch tips and die bores to enhance tablet dissolution and hardness and eliminate sticking and picking.
