• Cattle Vac Box farm406 14 innovative tools & equipment The Cattle Vac Box is a rancher-developed cooler caddy designed to keep meds cool and organized while cattle are being processed. Colorado rancher, Darla Bramwell, designed the vaccination station over a period of years. It features a specifically designed tray with separate compartments that keep vaccines and medicines sorted while eliminating the chance of cross-contamination. The box is insulated and with the use of icepacks and an insulated pad, vaccines and medicines are kept at the right temperature. The all in one vaccination station has three slots in the lid for vaccine guns to keep them cool and protected, and out of sunlight and dirty conditions between injections. Under this section of lid is a "sharps" disposal holder for used needles. Just remove them from the gun, drop into the slot, and dispose of them later. The entire box weighs only 18 pounds, is easy to carry and clean, and is made in the US. Its handles are molded into the side and it has stainless steel clasps. It also comes with a detachable clip board, sharps container, syringe hole plugs, and a heat/ ice pack. Pick from a handful of boxes designed to meet the needs of your operation. The newest product is the H2O Precision Moisture Sensor designed for variable- and fixed-chamber round balers. The system works for users measuring moisture in both wet silage bales and in dry hay. For producers and custom operators who bale at higher moisture levels, this system offers valuable information. The system will read crop moisture from 6% to 60%, which the company claims is higher than any sensor currently on the market. The system uses two dual- opposing sensors to collect five readings per second through the outer 6 inches of the bale. The system reports data using Bluetooth to send information to Apple or Android smartphones or tablets. Learn more at harvesttec.com. Automatic systems for round balers are equipped with two moisture sensing discs, one mounted on each of the baler side walls, sensing moisture across the width of the bale via conductivity. The sensors can accurately read crop moisture from 8% to 60%, covering a wide range of moisture levels. • Moisture Sensor
