farm406 36 VanSetten raises South African Boer and South African Savanna goats because she likes their temperaments and build. She says she uses the goat income to supplement her family's barley farm income, and names them all "Bob" so she doesn't get too attached to sell them each year. Photo by Sara Young VanSetten's Boer goats began kidding over Memorial Day weekend. She often supplements triplet kids with bottle feeding multiple times a day. VanSetten says she prefers late spring kidding because the weather is nicer than kidding in January and it is not as hard on the goats. Nicholas and Noah bottle feed two of VanSetten's new Boer kids. Lulu, one of VanSetten's Savanna goats, nurses her kid while keeping a watchful eye on visitors. Photos by Sara Young
