Prerequisites: None. DAN221 / 3 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS RHYTHMIC AWARENESS I Exploration of rhythm in dance performance, choreography and pedagogy. Emphasis on the basic understanding of rhythm and cultivating awareness of rhythm in everyday life. Prerequisites: None. DAN222 / 3 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS RHYTHMIC AWARENESS II Study at the intermediate level of rhythm and how it can be applied in dance and choreography. Emphasis on awareness of rhythm in everyday life as well as creative practice in rhythm and movement. Prerequisites: DAN221 or permission of instructor. DAN231 / 1 CREDIT / 3 PERIODS BALLET III Theory and practice of ballet at the beginning intermediate level. Development of movement quality and performance skills.
