The functions of planning, organizing, staffing, motivating and controlling presented. Prerequisites: None. MGT175 / 3 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS BUSINESS ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT Covers basic principles of managing quality and performance in organizations. Covers management functions: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. Emphasizes continual improvement, ethics, and social responsibility. Prerequisites: None. MGT229 / 3 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP I Covers management concepts and applications for business, industry, and government organizations. Prerequisites: None. MGT251 / 3 CREDITS / 3 PERIODS HUMAN RELATIONS IN BUSINESS Analysis of motivation, leadership, communications, and other human factors.
