COLLABORATIONS I The Brock School of Business at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, has announced a partnership with the journalism and mass communication (JMC) department to create a ���ve-year dualdegree program for journalism students. Any JMC student who completes a business minor can stay at the school for the following year to obtain an MBA. I Nearly 20 companies with innovative supply chain operations have entered into a new alliance with Indiana University���s Kelley School of Business in Bloomington. The Supply Chain Alliance will be a forum for interaction among the companies, Kelley faculty, and students interested in careers in supply chain management. Member companies include ArcelorMittal USA, Bosch, Carlisle, Chrysler Corporation, Cook Medical, Exel, FedEx Solutions, W.W. I The MBA Career Services Council (MBA CSC) is partnering with the Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers to provide tailored programming to Canadian constituents. GRANTS AND DONATIONS I A US$5 million gift from an anonymous donor has provided funding for the Raymond C. Baumhart, S.J., Center for Social Enterprise and responsibility at the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago. HONORS AND AWARDS I Barbara Krumsiek has received the 2012 Botwinick Prize in Business Ethics from the Columbia Business School in New York City. Krumsiek is chair, president, and CEO of Calvert Investments. The prize is organized by the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics. OTHER NEWS I Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, is expanding its main campus with a building that will house the Earl Graves School of Business. The new building will hold seven academic departments, a Wall Street trading ���oor, mock hotel rooms, and a kitchen. The US$72 million building is expected to be completed in about 18 months. I Western Union Business Solutions, a unit of Western Union, will expand the organization���s partnership with ChinaPay, the online and mobile payments subsidiary of China���s UnionPay. The expanded partnership will enable participating universities around the world to accept international tuition and student fees in the Chinese renminbi (RMB). CORRECTION In ���EthicsGame Takes the Oath,��� a sidebar that appeared on page 33 of BizEd���s January/February 2013 printed edition, we incorrectly identi���ed the school where ��ngel Cabrera now serves as president. He is president of George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, not George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
