4. Students transferring among Arizona public higher education institutions must meet the admission requirements, residency
requirements, and all curricular and academic requirements of the degree-granting institution.
NOTE: Time Limit for Transfer Coursework
Students should be aware that the receiving institution may have age and credit limits on certain coursework to be used in
transfer. Students should be knowledgeable about the policies on time limits for transfer coursework for the institution to
which they plan to transfer.

Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) – A , B, S
Description
The Maricopa County Community College District Arizona General Education Curriculum (MCCCD AGEC) is a general
education certificate that fulfills lower-division general education requirements for students planning to transfer to any
Arizona public community college or university. Generally, the MCCCD AGEC transfers as a block without loss of credit.
