REFLECTION OF
CROCODILE
ENTERING RIVER
We patiently
watched two crocodiles on the opposite
shore of a small river
for quite a while.
I think our presence
finally began to bother them so they slowly made their way to
the water and quietly
disappeared beneath
the surface. The low
angle of the sun
made for a striking
reflection.
BLACK MANED LION
When we first saw this large male lion he was sleeping on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. Probably our vehicle
disturbed him and he lifted his head into the wind, which accounts for the flowing mane. Lions with black manes are
older and it is believed that they are more attractive to females.
