As long as people have shared the environment with wolves, they have had opinions about them. An opinion is a person's point of view or a judgment about a topic. Opinions are not always based on facts. The return of the wolf has affected many people who live near the park. Some people think wolves are vicious predators while others see wolves as an essential component of the Yellowstone ecosystem, or all the plants, animals, and nonliving things in the park's environment. Analyze the opinions that follow. Then decide which you are more likely to agree with.
