Many were on TV, and since I didn't— and don't—watch much televi- sion, I had no idea who most of them were! I would call my sister and ask; she usually knew what they were known for. This was an amazing session with Kelly, shot at Malibu Beach Colony. This was in the early 1980s, before she became famous and married John Travolta. I got many amazing photos of her on this shoot." Connie Sellecca for Cosmopolitan "Connie was part of a spread on new talent. This was shot at a swimming pool somewhere in L.A., back in the days of "big hair!" It was a challenge because I had to figure out a creative way to photograph her—she was eight months pregnant. A model sets her character based on what she's wearing and the nature of the assignment but actresses are not used to being in front of a camera when not playing a character. They think, 'I'm posing for a fashion magazine!' and start doing just that: posing." 143-147 Bob Stone_Feature 1/24/14 7:45 AM Page 5
