RETAILOBSERVER.COM JULY 2014 38 ALMO'S WARREN CHAIKEN PROMOTED TO CEO Gene Chaiken, Chairman of Almo Corporation, is pleased to announce that effective May 1, 2014 Warren Chaiken, current President and COO, will become the President & CEO of Almo Corporation and its subsidiaries. Warren will assume responsibility of Almo's financial division in addition to his current duties. This is another step in the company's long-term succession plan. Gene Chaiken will remain Chairman of the Board. The addition of Cohen and Terry is the first step in executing a new initiative at Almo Corporation focused on the expansion of Almo Specialty Products. As one of the original members of the Hadco team from the late 1970's, Barry brings to Almo almost 40 years of experience in the luxury appliance business. Hadco represented premium and ultra‐premium appliance brands in 23 eastern U.S. states. Currently Barry resides in Naples Florida with his family. STEVE TERRY Steve Terry has joined Almo as Vice President, Almo Specialty Products. Steve brings to Almo over 35 years of industry experience, 16 of those as a Hadco executive. Steve and his family reside in Leesberg Virginia. Almo is investing in the on‐going expansion of Almo Specialty Products; therefore additional career opportunities are available.
