8 FEDA News & Views Association Highlights Digital News & Views: A Great Member Education Tool, Pass It Along! Ray Herrick Executive Vice President ray@feda.com Need more information on how FEDA can help you? Contact me by phone at 800-677-9605 or by email. I f you are the designated key con- tact to receive FEDA updates at your firm, you should be receiving an email (every other month) that includes a link to the digital edition of FEDA News & Views. It's really easy to use and it's a great industry education tool in the hands of your key staff. You can person- ally send pertinent articles of interest to employees in your firm or decide who should receive the entire digital version. Here's what the following three FEDA members had to say about it: "FEDA News & Views digital version is a great way to extend the benefits of your FEDA membership! We all know how valuable the content of the maga- zine is and the tools that come with the digital version make it easy to share great articles with your team!" Fred Singer, Singer Equipment Company "FEDA News & Views is the one trade magazine in our industry that actually helps our managers become better lead- ers. The articles from industry experts, business consultants, and even friendly competitors, help us do a better job in our own company." Jerry Hyman, TriMark USA "The information in the digital News & Views helps keep the Ace Mart staff current on industry news and trends, allowing us to keep tabs on the compe- tition, brands, products and customers. Knowing the trends, allows Ace Mart to stay nimble and take advantage of the ever-shifting marketplace." Paul Gustafson, Ace Mart Restaurant Supply Note: If you are the designated key contact for FEDA at your member dealer- ship and are not receiving these emails, it may be because your spam filter is blocking them, as they originate from a broadcast email server. Please be sure to add the address amyrisinger@xmr3. com to your list of approved senders so that you can begin receiving this valu- able member benefit. If you have any questions about whether you are the key contact for FEDA, please call the FEDA office at (800) 677-9605. There is one designated key contact per FEDA member firm and for each paid branch. FEDA's Box Lunch Sales Training at NAFEM 2015 Show Seminar During the NAFEM 2015 Show (February 19-21 at the Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, Calif.), FEDA will host its sales training box lunch seminar Friday, February 20 at the Anaheim Convention Center from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Popular sales trainer Don Buttrey will present his program "The SELL Process™—Your Offense" and will be sharing how to prepare and execute highly effective customer interactions. Your people also will be exposed to a very powerful pre-call planning process. It's an ideal program for both your front- line salespeople and sales management, which includes take-away tools and a handout. This FEDA sales training program is sponsored by our good friends at HATCO Corp./Mike Whiteley, vice president of Sales & Marketing. You have to eat anyway, so why not have your sales team pick up some profes- sional sales training at the same time. Registration materials and pricing will be sent to all FEDA members in late October or early November. Plan ahead and mark your calendar! Questions? Feel free to email or call me at the FEDA office.
