Rationale and Goals
CentralData is CMU's data warehouse. It was
designed to serve as a central data repository
and provide easy, self-service access to
data, standardization of data definitions,
consistency in data measures, and elimination
of unnecessary and redundant reports and
spreadsheets – all driving towards "one version
of the truth" that will promote better decision-
making across CMU.
