Grease Gun The Lincoln PowerLuber Series 1880 grease gun features a high-torque powerhead for multiple lubrication appli- cations. The two-speed motor delivers grease at up to 10,000 psi in both high- and low-output settings. Powered by a 20-volt, lithium-ion battery, the PowerLuber utilizes a multifunction liquid crystal display to accurately indicate standard readings such as battery level and grease flow. The three-point base keeps the tool upright and stable for easy handling while also allowing access to tight areas and reducing operator fatigue when lubricating simple- to-reach fittings. Corrosion TesT KiT Parker Kittiwake's new Cold Corrosion Test Kit offers an accurate picture of the level of corrosive elements present in cylinder oil, with results in less than five minutes. Using a color-matching test, the kit alters the color of an oil sample, indicating the concentration of non-ferrous iron compounds. The resulting color is matched to a reference color wheel that provides a measurement of the corrosive wear present in the sample. The universal absorbents soak up oils, coolants, solvents and water. The lightweight polyethylene con- tainers resist chemicals and keep contents clean and dry. The highly visible bright-yellow color is easy to locate in the event of a spill, and the non-threaded lid lifts off for fast and easy access. Temporary disposal bags with ties help make cleanup faster, while the molded-in handles enable easy carrying. It offers excellent high-temperature properties and can be used for both low loads combined with high speeds as well as high loads combined with low speeds. Based on a thermally stable base oil, polytetra- fluoroethylene (PTFE) thickener and special additives, the synthetic grease is compatible with elastomer and thermoplastic components and seals. Klübertherm HB 88-182 is also resistant to hydrolysis and protects com- ponents against corrosion at high temperatures and in humid environments.
