S P O R T I N G C L A S S I C S 2 2 4 When she's not painting gundogs and big game of the High West, Julie Jeppsen competes in Cowboy Mounted Shooting events. The riders are timed as they tear around a course, firing hot powder embers from their pistols to burst ten balloons as quickly as they can. Contestants are ranked up to Level 6, depending on the number of matches they've won and the level of those they bested. Currently ranked at Level 3, Julie has been competing in the events for the past 11 years.
