September / October 2015 20 I n this issue I will continue to cover detailing your Porsche to an extra level. I will cover areas that are often missed when cleaning and waxing your car. Also I will show you how to disassemble some parts of your car to better detail your car back to showroom condition. So lets get started on a couple areas that are often missed: Gas cap. The compartment around the gas cap, although very important, is an item often forgotten. (Every time you wash your car this area should be rinsed and wiped dry to keep it clean and the drain free from debris). To detail this area first take off the gas cap and clean it with your Back to Black. While the cap is off wipe off all the black rubber with Back to Black and buff dry. (see picture 2) Then use finishing spray to wax and buff the rest of the area until it looks new. Now you can put the gas cap back on and you're done. Exhaust pipe care.
