The Porsche Experience Center
PORSCHE OVERLOAD
A
s a relatively newcomer
to the Porsche brand, I
have spent considerable
time learning about the very
machines that bind us as
enthusiasts. As a new Cay-
man owner, I poured over
brochures; road tests, tech
articles and anything else I
could find that would help
me better understand more
about my first Porsche.
To better understand and
to experience the full driving
dynamics, I elected to take
the advice of several of the
club members and attended a
couple of DE days and expe-
rienced for myself the level
of performance that these
vehicles can offer. While I
am no stranger to driving
high performance vehicles
on the track, it became clear
to me that in order for me to
gain additional skills and to
fully capitalize on the ve-
hicle's capabilities I needed
to get some professional
coaching in an environment
that would allow me to learn,
explore, push the envelope
and have fun in the process.
The new Porsche Experience
Center in Atlanta fit the bill
perfectly.
Located on the site of the
former Ford Plant just adja-
cent to the Atlanta Hartsfield
International Airport, this
"As a recent brand convert and new found
Porsche nerd, I could not think of a better
way to spend a Friday."
