This is a key leadership position with responsibility for providing the vision and leadership to enable the School to successfully compete for students in a competitive, national and international, marketplace. In the coming years, this position will be instrumental in leading the change from a focus on recruitment of local/regional, part-time adult students to recruitment of full time students from across the U.S. and around the globe. Works in close collaboration with the Marketing Department to develop marketing strategy and oversee the design and production of marketing materials. Oversees all aspects of managing and implementing state-of-the-art outreach systems for inquiries, applicants and admitted students. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree with 8 to 10 plus years of progressively responsible admissions experience, including at least 3 years with responsibility for leading higher education admissions/ student recruitment programs. Master's Degree and experience in a graduate business school setting are preferred. Must be able to think strategically, while engaging in hands-on recruitment and program development and implementation. Requires proven success recruiting a diverse pool of students in a higher education environment; strong knowledge of conventional and internet-based recruitment methodologies; knowledge of federal, state and local laws regarding student privacy and records administration and retention; and the proven ability to coach, counsel and mentor staff through the use of sound management and employee relations practices. This position requires a high degree of comfort with technology, including a strong understanding of data management and mining and report production and proficiency in MS Word Office Suite.
