College of Business The College is currently searching for candidates for the following positions: • up to Associate Professor, Accounting: Taxation (Search #2.07, closing November 1, 2007) • Assistant Professor, Decision Sciences (Search #3.07, review of applications will begin Fall 2007) • up to Associate Professor, Finance (Search #4.07, review of applications will begin September 15, 2007) • Assistant Professor, Management: Entrepreneurship (Search #5.07, closing November 1, 2007) • Assistant Professor, Management: Strategy (Search #6.07, closing October 1, 2007) • up to Associate Professor, Management: Strategy (Search #7.07, closing October 1, 2007) POSITION: Full-time tenure-track position in the above areas. The position requires the effective teaching of the graduate and undergraduate courses. A successful record of applied research in the area is also expected. APPOINTMENT DATE: Fall Semester 2008 QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in business with a specialization in the areas listed above or a closely-related discipline from an AACSB accredited school or equivalent (degree must be awarded prior to August 1, 2008). A clearly demonstrated record of effective teaching, as well as significant research promise in area of emphasis or closely- related area. Demonstrated success in teaching and research is a plus. Additional competencies (business/ management experience, on-line course delivery, consulting, etc.) are plus factors. Awareness of, and sensitivity to, the educational goals of a multicultural and socially diverse urban university population.
