MEOPTA MEOSTAR S2 82 HD stand 6.3 inches high and weigh about 28 ounces. While they were at it, Zeiss decided they might as well make the world's highest light transmission riflescopes, too. The Victory HT line includes the same Schott HT lenses as the binocular and the same superior T* coatings for nearly 95-percent light transmission. But that's not all. There are new, lower profile eyepieces that permit low scope mounting for faster, more natural sight alignment plus "the world's finest illuminated red dot." It's so tiny that when turned off, it completely disappears within the regular crosshair. The dot is activated and its intensity adjusted via a knob on the left of the center turret. Unlike systems that align windage by adjusting one ring only, Conetrol rings put no torque or bend into a scope Three basic styles are available, from matte to high gloss and even special finishes. DNZ scope mounts feature a one-piece design for the best possible shooting accuracy. The rings are precision manufactured of Billit aluminum, which weighs only a third as much as steel. There are no moving parts between the rifle and scope and no special tools are needed to mount the rings, eliminating the need for windage screws while providing perfect alignment. DNZ scope mounts feature a full one-half inch of threading and Grade 8 hardened steel screws. They can accommodate most scope models in both 1 inch and 30mm tubes. SPOR TIN G CL ASSICS 221
