33
have experienced the same
resurrection. The 356 was
once looked at as a waste of
money. Early 911s were old
school in the bad sense of the
term. These days, it seems
all Porsches that were once
left to rot in backyard or
forgotten barns have found
a new life. 914s and 944s
have even seen an uptick in
their value.
And no matter the year or
model, normally aspirated
or turbo charged, manual
or automatic, rear, mid, or
front engine, they all came
out to support our premier
club sponsor Aristocrat.
The best value of the
day might have been the
free lunch provided by
Aristocrat. Two food tucks
were conveniently located
near the Porsche corral. I
don't mind if I do!
Sitting in the shade of tall
birch tree eating my lunch,
I marveled at the sight of
all the cars, all the people,
and all the cheerful smiles.
It was a simple event, come
show the art of YOUR
car. Everyone seemed so
happy to be doing just that
- enjoying the art of the car.
Next year, when I get an
email from Robert asking
how many KCRPCA cars
will show... I'd like to see an
even 100.
