Allen, a past KCRPCA president, reflected
on club activities from earlier years, such as
drives to the Lake of the Ozarks, and Christ-
mas parties held in member's homes.
Yes, cars and clubs do change as the years
slip by. However, club members still remain
the heart of the organization. To help re-
spark memories of drives on winding black
top roads, ice cream socials on hot summer
days or sharing beers and bratwursts on a
cool Fall night, Porsches such as Allen's
and Rodolfo's will be around for many years
to come to rekindle those thoughts.
I hope to see you on the road, or at a club
event, in a Porsche.

**I wish to give major thanks to the Na-
tional Airline History Museum of Kansas
City and their President, Bob Glover, for
allowing us to use their great facility as a
backdrop for the photo shoot. For more

At one time, both cars were
in service as daily drivers.
Rodolfo's 1973½ Guards
Red 911T has amassed
slightly over 146,000 miles.
Allen's turquoise 1971
911T, although the senior
vehicle, has recorded just a
hair over 98,000 miles.
