A 900-foot-long private tunnel carved into the cliff side and illu- minated by chandeliers is a fitting entrance to the stunning Resor t at Pedregal, located on the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Guests arriving via luxury hotel trans- por tation are greeted with a silver tray bearing their choice of custom- crafted beverages. Drink in hand, they are escorted by a private concierge along a scenic pathway above the coastline to their ocean-view suites. General Manager Fernando Flores says that "privacy and exclusivity" are the hallmarks of the five-diamond property, which boasts the second highest ranking of resorts in Cabo. The property's 113 rooms are outfitted with elegant custom décor— from the headboards to the candleholders to the crystal drinking glasses— and overlook the Pacific. A private infinity plunge pool on each room's large patio is inviting day or night. Guests looking for family friendly experiences can choose to stay in three- or four-bedroom villas and enjoy the Tortuguitas Kids Club and shallow pool with scaled-down lounge chairs. Staff are helpful and friendly, whether offering a fresh towel or chilled bottle of water to pool guests, delivering fresh chips and guacamole with a bucket of Coronas to every room each afternoon or stopping to offer a smile and "Buenos días." "Our mission is to provide unforgettable moments for our guests with a professional team that suppor t each other in the pursuit of excellence," Flores says.
