ack in 1973, Michael Dubb
was a 17-year-old racing
fan who slept in the van
he used for his landscap-
ing business during trips to
Saratoga. Little did he know back then
that he would one day be the founder
and CEO of his own building company,
Beachwood Organization, and a three-
time leading owner at the historic New
York oval known as "The Spa."

and I was in the landscaping business,"
Dubb recalled. "I had a van that I used
for cutting lawns and to sleep in when I
went to Saratoga. I did quite well land-
scaping and it was great because it gave
