To Your Health Losing weight is no simple task. With every program claiming to be superior to the next, separating the poor methods from the promising can be a daunting venture. Whose claims should you believe? Which program will help achieve lifelong results? Which method would your doctor endorse? Since 2016, Ideal Protein at Great Falls OBGYN has been helping patients to achieve their weight-loss goals – all under the supervision of a team of physicians. "This is a medically designed, professionally supervised and supported weight loss program," says Casey Calbick, RN and Ideal Protein Coach. "It's not a high-protein diet," she clarifies. "Instead, the protein is balanced at an ideal level for a person's body." Casey spends her days helping patients learn how their bodies use food to gain, lose or maintain pounds. Together, they set goals, measure progress and develop plans for the future. "Ideal Protein has four phases," Casey explains. "Phase One is where the weight loss occurs, so the length depends on the patient's goals." During this phase, participants incorporate Ideal Protein meal products (including tantalizing meals like Apple Oatmeal or Mushroom Risotto) for breakfast, lunch and a snack, and cook their own natural protein for dinner. Nix the carbs, increase the veggies, and watch the pounds melt away.
