e children, ages three to twenty, have also pitched in
and done what they were able to do. One day the eighteen-
year-old son, who is very talented in all trades, sat in one of
the new rooms and said, "Do you realize I have done almost
everything to [remodel] this room."
It's a big building with many nooks and crannies. A few
times one of the younger children has gone missing. ey
have wandered off to a dark corner to take a nap. "We would
be frantically looking for them, even got the police involved
one time, during which the child wandered back into
view, "said Rebekka.
e hotel was full occupancy almost every night most
of the summer. With school sports and hunting starting
up in the fall, a different type of clientele will be staying
at the Rundle Suites. "Teams love our suites because a
large number can save money by renting a suite of several
rooms," said Jon. "We have had excellent reviews for
customer service because we want to provide that
special experience."
Six of the seven children are available for a photo shoot with their parents
on the roof of the Rundle Suites.
Rundle Suites hotel was built in 1917 by Sydney Rundle.
