has a lot of luxury amenities, and it's just a great facility. We are looking forward to hosting our guests there as well as some of our corporate partners." Checking in, your eyes are instantly drawn to the three different neon light fixtures hanging above reception, giving your mind something to do in case there is a line. Each one contains a phrase, inspired by the importance of the nearby Ohio Riv- er: La Belle Rivière, The Beautiful River, and Soul of Louisville. This is no accident, as the hotel's three main design elements of bourbon, cul- ture, and water are woven throughout the expansive lobby and the hotel itself. The lobby also features a custom handmade in- stallation created from Vendome Copper, which is a family-owned Louisville suppli- er located a mile from the hotel. Notably, it produces over 90% of all copper stills in the world. "This hotel is very much about Louis- ville," said Carly Mason, the marketing manager of Omni Louisville Hotel. "Laura McKoy, our Omni creative director and vice president of interior design, is based out of our corporate office, but she is from Pa- ducah, Ky. She was really able to be part of the design process. She spent a ton of time here going to different galleries and an- tique stores and picking out elements that truly capture Louisville. There are nods to Muhammad Ali, the Louisville Slugger, bourbon, horse racing, and more. There is so much of Louisville in this property."
