Page 12 GLOBAL q BICSI is Now an Accredited CPD Provider BICSI has recently been named an Accredited CPD Provider by The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Certification Service. Now our instructor-led courses, as well as our online courses, are eligible for CPD Hours. CPD Hours are required by many professionals in the United Kingdom and internationally to demonstrate they are staying current with the latest industry and professional trends, technologies and best practices. This includes both BICSI members and nonmembers who maintain CPD Hours for their professional certifications and licenses. In addition to courses, BICSI can obtain CPD accreditation for events, including conferences and webinars. Our association is currently listed on the CPD Website in the Provider Directory. We are working on adding our eligible courses to their course catalog, and our eligible events to the CPD site. Currently BICSI offers CPD Hours for our Cabling Installation Program, ICT Design Fundamentals Program, bonding and grounding, data center, distribution design, outside plant and project management courses. The CPD Service is an independent accreditation center working across all sectors and disciplines. As an Accredited CPD Provider, BICSI looks forward to being a source of CPD Hours for our members, and reaching more individuals internationally with our courses, webinars and conferences.
