TA: I got thrown in jail in Birmingham, Alabama, after LSU beat Alabama, 6-3, when I was a junior in college. I spent the night in jail. The best way to describe our offense was 'taunting.' We were ranked sixth in the nation, they were third in the nation, and it was Bear Bryant's last year. We were going back to our Winnebago and we had a sign on the Winnebago as we were driving out of town that we shouldn't have had on the Winnebago. Let's just say it was derogatory toward the Alabama football team and their coach. One of the city policemen saw it. They made up about four crimes that they said we committed and threw us in jail in the general population. There were nine of us. They made me wear a jumpsuit that said 'Felon' in block letters on the back and 'Birmingham City Jail' on the front. We got out late the next night and we had to sign some papers saying we wouldn't bring any charges against the city of Birmingham for what they had done to us. I would have signed anything to get the hell out of there. TDN: In college, you were in a fraternity. What's the craziest, dumbest, most childish thing you did as a member of an LSU fraternity? TA: I never met Shaquille O'Neal, but I did walk right next to him walking into an LSU football game, literally side by side with him. He is super human. When they portray the Incredible Hulk on TV or in the movies, that's what he looks like. He is a massive man. TDN: You're not the most famous person who ever attended LSU. Shaquille O'Neal is. Have you ever had a chance to meet him?
