Santa Anita's announcer Frank Mirahmadi, well-known as
the top pizza expert in Thoroughbred racing, might disagree,
but this pizza falls just shy of the Margherita I consider the
best in the world—the one made in the Trattoria di Cagnano in
Montepulciano, Italy.
It's going to take a bit of doing to b e a t that one, b u t Sant a
Lucia does an awful lot to bring up the level of pizza in France.
