"Washington is very dysfunc- tional and the political noise in our nation's capital can often distract us from what's really important. Studying the Bible with Capitol Ministries ® keeps me grounded in God's truth. Every week Ralph and Danielle lead an in-depth study of the Word that reminds us of God's priorities and how we should conduct ourselves within those priorities. Sharing this time with my colleagues builds trust, and the fellowship we enjoy helps dramatically as we make decisions about the direction of our country." HERE AT CAPITOL MINISTRIES®, MARK 13:10, "THE GOSPEL MUST FIRST BE PREACHED TO ALL THE NATIONS", IMPELS US! Jesus is stating throughout Mark 13 what the prerequisites are to His Second Coming in all His glory (cf. verse 26). It is verse 10 in particular that relates to our ministry calling, pur- pose, and passion: We can't help but think that the Gospel will be preached in every capital of the world prior to Christ's return! Jesus' words are very motivational to our missional thinking, purpose, and quest for fulfillment; we labor to plant sustainable, ongoing disciple-making ministries in 200 foreign federal capitals of the world — and in all 50 U.S. state capitols. We are driven by the pure essence of the Great Commission! In addition to our White House Cabinet, U.S. Senate, and House Member Washing- ton, D.C. ministries, this past year we launched/en- couraged new ministries in Arizona, Vermont, Del- aware, and assisted with a seamless transition to a new Ministry Leader in the long-established Oklahoma ministry. Overseas expan- sion included new works in several additional Afri- can and Latin American nations. We are so thankful for the Global Directors that God has raised up, as well as each Ministry Lead- er in each of the countries. But perhaps the greatest accomplishment of 2018 was the publication of Oaks in Office, our ministry's four-vol- ume tome that contains Bible studies necessary to mature a Public Servant in Christ. And, at the end of the year, we created 52 stand-alone PDF Oaks in Office chapters that contain study questions. is format allows for ease and efficiency in trans- lating the chapters into other languages. From anywhere in the world, Ministry Leaders will be able to email the chapters to the political leaders they serve for their weekly studies. In all its forms, Oaks in Offi ce will greatly aid our discipleship objectives. "Faith comes om hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17 NKJV). We thank God for your partnership in 2018 and we eagerly anticipate working with you on our shared new objectives in 2019. ey follow on the next page. ministry objectives $0 $400,000 $800,000 $1,200,000 $1,600,000 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 $1,512,671 $1,175,460 $903,279 $814,874 $647,148 $1,590,183 $1,273,205 $921,119 $885,549 $828,628 YE 2018: $180,000 cash on hand DONATIONS PER YEAR Program Expenses
