"It has been an extremely exciting year for Capitol Ministries ® and we have big plans for what we pray will be an outstanding 2019! We need more partners: prayer warriors, lay Ministry Leaders, and an increasing number of financial contributors in order to continue to move ahead and aggressively achieve our 2019 ministry objectives. Please prayerfully consider locking arms with us in one or more of these ways! When we started Capitol Ministries® in D.C. in 2010, we con centrated on the U.S. House of Representatives. at min- istry proved fruitful as many Members went on to become Sen- ators and White House Cabinet Members and were the pro- genitors of the expansions. But we lost many key leaders from the House Ministry, so this coming year we will invest time, energ y, and efforts rebuilding it. We will con centrate on devel- oping relationships with Freshman Members. We believe the House ministry — our "Mother Minis try" on the Hill — is key to expansion and sustainability in D.C. Please pray and partner with us in this regard. U.S. State Capitols We plan to launch new ministries in Alaska, Colo rado, Maine, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, and are already working with gied lead ers in each state. Our prior ity continues to be establishing full-time, year-round ministries in all 50 states as these campuses are the nexus of our culture and point the future direction of our nation. Please pray and partner with us in this regard. International As I write this, God is opening tremendous doors for expan- sion throughout the continent of Africa and in Latin America nations. We are delighted to find that we have more opportu- nities than we can avail ourselves of ! In addition, we have great opportunities in Warsaw, Poland; New Delhi, India; and Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Please pray and partner with us in this regard. Local Government We are working with CM volunteers to build a database of 512,000 elected local government leaders in the 40,000 incor porated municipalities in the United States. In the years ahead, Members of our Cabinet, Senate, and House minis- tries will be able to email invitations to local leaders to join them in reading the same weekly study that we use in the D.C. ministries. Today's local leaders are tomorrow's state and federal government leaders. We are so excited about this new additional ministry to our local lead ers! Please pray and partner with us in this regard.
