nose and tail like you, maybe one of your team?" Demi went
to find Wurrun the Platypus behind some reeds.
Next they found a Black-headed Python wiggling about.
He was small and stripy but didn't have Demi's snout.
Demi felt like something was watching them all. She turned around
and saw, behind a big tree a long, powerful claw. She wondered if it could
be one of her kind, but it was Lex the Lace Monitor trying to hide.
"I'm not a dinosaur like you, but I'd
happily help find others of your breed."
"Join in our adventure," Demi asked Jake the Snake. "You can slither
under rocks, and through lile holes where my big feet won't go.
He ran up the tree, with his forked
tongue sticking out, "Perhaps
