019 will mark the 32nd year for the March in
Montana dealer show and auction. Charlie Russell's
historic Elks Lodge #214 in Great Falls, Montana is where
partners Coeur d'Alene Galleries and Coeur d'Alene Art
Auction host the action packed, fun event. This year's
three-day dealer show and two-day auction will kick
off on Thursday morning March 21st with the auction
on Friday and Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m. this year.

This year's dealers represent the cream of the crop in
western painting, native artifacts, jewelry, weaving and
a sneak peek at works that will be offered in the 2019
Coeur d' Alene Art Auction. Exhibitors include Coeur
d' Alene Art Auction, Manitou Galleries, Nelson Fine Art,
Settlers West Galleries, Hodges Fine Art, Tierney Fine Art,
Palace Jewelers and Barlow Classical Wildlife Sculpture.
This year's sale will feature a diverse collection of
artwork that will remain true to auctions past by being
heavy on artists that have shaped Montana as a
state. The highlight will be a historically significant oil
by Montana artist Olaf C. Seltzer. It features the first
transportation company out of Montana, The Diamond
R, which was incorporated in 1866 and was the engine
of the growing Montana territory. The painting and
provenance will make this an exciting piece to watch
at auction.
