Tablet tester
SmartTest 50 semi-automatic tablet tester measures a tab-
let's weight, thickness, length, width, and hardness. Unit
accepts up to 23 tablets of any size and shape into the car-
ousel for automated testing. For larger sample sizes, the
tablet tester can cycle through 100 tablets and combine test
runs into a single test report. Unit's alignment system auto-
matically orients oblong and oval tablets for width and
length measurement before hardness testing, and its S-beam
load cell measures tablet hardness with 99.95 percent linear-
ity. Test data can be evaluated and printed immediately or
exported. Color touch screen with icon-driven menu
reduces operator training time. Unit retains and recalls pro-
grams for testing as many as 100 products and is suitable for
lab- and production-scale output.

Blister leak tester
Sepha VisionScan non-destructive blister leak tester pro-
vides an alternative analysis method to blue dye bath
tests, which destroy blister packs during testing by sub-
merging them in water. Unit uses cameras and software to
determine if a blister cavity has a leak without damaging
the pack. On-spec blister packs can be returned to the
production line, which can provide significant cost-sav-
ings for manufacturers.
