A spectacular turnout—more than 400 attendees visited Mumbai to take
part in the annual 2019 BICSI India Conference & Exhibition on 12 April 2019.
The event showcased the way digital transformation is driving the wave of
transition, witnessing an advent of disruptors and enablers vitalized by the
accelerated expansion of digital connectivity. Vice President of BICSI Global
Development & Support Paul Weintraub, RCDD, ESS, RTPM, TECH, CAE and
India District Chair Ninad Desai, RCDD, NTS, OSP, TECH, CT spoke about the
potential of digital transformation and current ICT advancements, and the role
of BICSI in stimulating ICT professionals and the industry as a whole. The event
included a concurrent exhibition, as well as a three-day BICSI India Cabling
Skills Challenge featuring 24 competitors. Pre-conference events consisted
of technical workshops, a BICSI India Steering Committee meeting and
a networking dinner the night before.
