Refunds No refunds or exchanges will be made on books or supplies without a current cash register receipt. Refunds or exchanges will be made for a one-week period after the first day of classes for fall, spring and summer semesters. Starting the second week of classes, the bookstore will resume its two- day refund policy. Rent-a-Text GateWay participates in the Follett book rental program. Students may rent new or used textbooks for significant up-front savings. The Career Centers offer individualized assistance in the following areas: • Career Planning and Assessment • Determination of a Major • Job Search Resources/Interview Preparation • Resume Development Students and jobseekers also may benefit from access to job postings and tips to navigate an Internet-based job search. Other services include on-campus employer recruitment and job fairs, and access to Federal Work Study positions for those who qualify. All students are encouraged to visit the Career Center during their first semester at GateWay to start building their professional portfolio. All services are open to the public and free of charge. Under the Federal Work Study (FWS) program, qualified students are awarded federal funding in order to work at GateWay on a part-time basis while pursuing their education. Other jobs are available for student workers as well. All students are encouraged to drop by the Career Center to take advantage of all these services.
