Redstone Federal Credit Union (RFCU) was created in 1951 to serve the military and government civilian workers of Redstone Arsenal. Over the years, however, people from all walks of life and various occupations have become eligible for RFCU membership. Membership is open to the immediate family of a member, those living in the same household as a member and those working for and providing support to Redstone Arsenal, both military and civilian. In addition, membership is open to those who belong to one of more than 1,600 organizations, clubs and churches that are considered Redstone's valued Membership Partners. One such special partner is the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Redstone-Huntsville Chapter. AUSA is a nonprofit educational and professional development association serving America's soldiers and their families. RFCU and AUSA Redstone-Huntsville Chapter both have a long history of serving America's servicemen and servicewomen and their families. ey have worked together on various initiatives – including a current partnership that provides special membership opportunities for customers of Rural King – America's Home and Farm Store. rough RFCU's partnership with AUSA, anyone who would like to join RFCU can now receive a complimentary membership to AUSA Redstone-Huntsville Chapter, which will then make them eligible to join RFCU. Aside from the benefits new members receive from Redstone, AUSA membership offers its own set of hearty benefits.
