with the guys, that's what
you remember the most.
Obviously, I remember certain
parts about games, but that
stuff comes and goes. I still
play in a lot of games every
single year now so it's hard
to remember all of that stuff.
But you definitely remember
the celebrations afterwards,
like the celebration after
we beat Notre Dame. That
was awesome. After we beat
Stanford my sophomore year
and coach [Jerry] Brown was
in the locker room dancing.
That's the stuff you remember
more than actual plays on the
field.
MO: You got a chance to
work out at the Walter
Athletics Complex and Ryan
Fieldhouse in the offseason.
What are your thoughts?
And what do you think it
means for the program?
JJ: It's really cool obviously.
It's super modern and it's
right on the water with all the
glass, so it looks sweet. High
school kids love shiny things,
so they're going to come in
and like it and if it gives you a
leg up on other teams, that's
great. It's something to be
proud of It shouldn't really
make you play better because
you're playing on the field
and you should be hyped up
no matter what. But you're
working out in a beautiful
facility so maybe if it helps you
get through that day, that's
the point of it. Obviously,
it's as accessible and player
friendly as possible, I'm sure
that's what Coach Fitz wanted.
It's a really nice facility and
the guys deserve it, the
program deserves it so I'm
definitely glad that it's there.
MO: What advice do you
have for current Wildcats
hoping to stick on an NFL
roster?
JJ: The more you can do, man.
The more you can do. For a lot
of young guys, you're going
to be playing special teams
