Several multi-collaboration rooms and spaces throughout the headquarters facilitate a functional work environment that encourages coordination among workgroups. Conference rooms equipped with state-of-the-art video conferencing and interactive displays elevate the quality and effectiveness of staff meetings. Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony To celebrate the opening of the updated BICSI World Headquarters and BICSI Learn- ing Academy and to recognize our tireless Project Refresh Working Group and many Project Refresh Sponsors, BICSI held a Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on 13 November 2019. After the ceremony, guests were invited to tour the updated facility. "The modernization and renovation of the BICSI World Headquarters, including the expansion of the BICSI Learning Academy, is indicative of our commitment to provide the highest level of service and value to the ICT community and our members, starting with our home base in Tampa, Florida," said BICSI Executive Director and CEO John Clark Jr., CAE. BICSI is grateful to everyone who played a role in this significant upgrade, especially our many Project Refresh Sponsors and our Project Refresh Working Group that led the remodel project. The group consisted of four BICSI Past Presidents: Ed Donelan, RCDD, NTS, ESS; Russ Oliver, RCDD, DCDC, NTS, ESS; Brian Hansen, RCDD, NTS, CSI; and Brian Ensign, RCDD, NTS, OSP, RTPM, CSI; and two staff representatives: Vice Presi- dent of Administration and CFO Betty Eckebrecht, CAE, and Director of Human Resources Bernie Currie, SHRM-CP, PHR. It's true that BICSI is extremely proud of our recent remodel and our BICSI Learning Academy classrooms, but remember that we provide training in a variety of formats, including Live Online (virtual instructor-led training and webinars), Self-paced (BICSI CONNECT online courses), and Corporate On-site Training (we'll come to your organi- zation to teach a course to your group).
