A sense of luxury with a minimalistic
design aesthetic was the goal for this
master bath suite. The floor-to-ceiling
three-panel glass door stacks
seamlessly into textured rock walls,
opening the full width of the bathroom to
a catwalk overlooking the pool that links
the master suite to an expansive outdoor
kitchen and living space.
The client desired a luxurious
showering and bathing experience with
separate vanity space and abundant
storage, a large zoned closet with
integrated laundry area, and universal
design considerations for the showering
experience.
Some challenges encountered includ-
ed the need to soften the feel of the hard
surfaces, rock, glass panels, porcelain
wall and floor tile, and creating warmth in
the large space without compromising the
contemporary edge of the architectural
design.
